The gaps on my AJ fenders. Not perfect but I can live with them.

Way to keep your eyes peeled.

Amuse370z 03-11-2014 12:49 PM

I think that's a little on the expensive side...?

FairladyZ10PG 03-11-2014 01:05 PM

^That's what I thought too but I guess there are costs that you & I don't know about

NLP370 03-11-2014 01:49 PM

The Nismo wing blocks your view MUCH more then the Amuse. The amuse has a larger opening for you to have direct site right through it.

Who are we kidding, our rear window is so small you can hardly see anything through your rearview mirror anyways

The rear crash bar needs to be painted black too.

cooltoy 03-17-2014 11:41 PM

That is my greatest peeve.

wheee! 03-18-2014 07:22 AM

Yup. I am plasti dipping the mesh on mine. Should make it a little more chip resistant. And easy to touch up!
I am also planning on 'carving' the rear crash bar foam a bit to keep it in place behind the bumper but leave some space around the mesh. The foam will be painted black of course.

I'm thinking the same thing.
I just dipped mine last weekend and I'm hoping it will resist chipping better than metallic paint.

Realale 03-18-2014 01:29 PM

Yea I plasti dipped mine. Hopefully it should last

Ire 03-19-2014 01:37 PM

what does everyone do about the white foam that peeks through the mesh on the rear? Im thinking of just getting some black wrap and sticking it over the white. either that or plastidipping it.

wheee! 03-19-2014 01:41 PM

Going to 'carve' mine down a bit for more clearance and paint it black....

Realale 03-19-2014 02:56 PM

I just removed it altogether. You would have to shave it down so thin I really don't think it would do anything.

wheee! 03-19-2014 06:53 PM

I agree now after looking at it again tonight. It's going to stay off the car and the bumper fits better too.

Nice. That's the car that inspired me to order the same hood with my amuse kit.

His is an authentic amuse kit I believe with a carbon fibre JP-R hood.

carlitos_370z 03-31-2014 07:27 AM

awesome pic!!! the car looks great!!

Sounds right, any cheaper and your in crap-ebay area. I think CS has it for like 2660 full kit with CF accents, before ship and brake light for the wing.

Is that third brake light necessary? I see it on Shine's website but can't order it.

I got my kit (shine auto) from a forum member on here... drove 3 hours to pick it up. It had carbon fiber accent too. Just be prepared to pay $$ for paint and install. But it's so worth it. Lots of thumbs up on the roads :)

mind me asking what the damage was for that?

Otherwise you will have kind of a hole in the wing.

Like this.

The light itself is for a Toyota Sequoya part number is 81570-42071.
