The spoiler itself looks fine, it's the loss of visability that I would not be able to live with....

Liquid_G 03-04-2014 10:22 AM

you don't lose much honestly with the Amuse wing. You view is pretty much the same IMO.

wheee! 03-04-2014 10:53 AM

I meant the Nismo style Seibon wing... The Amuse wing I have not seen in person.

cooltoy 03-04-2014 11:16 AM

Are you talking about visibility when reversing??

wheee! 03-04-2014 12:17 PM

Or even driving... I hate to give up my rear window visibility. That is why I went with the NS style Seibon.

equalme 03-04-2014 01:53 PM

Wished there were more reviews on the aerojacket fitment. I found a local vendor for aerojacket which ends up being $210 cheaper than shine for the front bumper.

Here's my view with the amuse wing.

cooltoy 03-04-2014 02:34 PM

Would you say it comes across the middle of the window of more at the top.

Looks like if you turn your head, it's the middle, but in the rear view mirror it's a the top. does that sound right?

Jasonle 03-04-2014 02:37 PM

The top of the amuse wing blocks the top window I have to look through it. Rely on my side mirrors more. At least for me I do.

cooltoy 03-04-2014 02:40 PM

So the Seibon/Nismo would be at the bottom portion of the rear view. Should not really block much. All the Nismo drivers are fine with it.

CT:

My Nismo wing is right in the middle. Took me a while to get use to it.

cooltoy 03-04-2014 03:03 PM

That's OK too. Some visibility below, some above. I am OK with that. My Celica wing was right in the middle and I was good.

I am 6'2". I think driver height makes a difference on what porotion of the window the wing blocks.

Thanks. Reped.

I am not sure if the S-tune wing (Seibon NS) S would be better (visibility wise). Might be worse, as it would block the bottom part of the rear making it harder to see down.

Not sure. Pics would be good (hint, hint).

Maybe it is below the bottom of the window and not visible.

I don't know if this helps anyone. But this is how low the Amuse side skirts are. Im lowered on coilovers. My shoes hits the skirts

cooltoy 03-04-2014 03:56 PM

That's pretty low.

Realale 03-04-2014 04:35 PM

My Nismo with Amuse rear bumper

Ire 03-04-2014 04:55 PM

yeah i was talking about the seibon one iirc
ive had many chances to drive my friends amuse Z and the rear wing doesnt obstruct visibility much, its JUST larger than our rear window if you're about average size.

I'm working on it! Car has been scheduled for the bodyshop on April 7th... I was hoping to get it in for March but they are swamped.

I'll have to get one. That's the best shot I have since I put the bumper on.

pfdaxe 03-04-2014 07:02 PM

Here's a pic of my Nismo wing I just took at my eye level showing the visibility or lack of:

http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...psb034df48.jpg

cooltoy 03-04-2014 07:58 PM

That's good enough I think. The car is low, so any SUV/Trucks/Mini vans should be visible through the top portion.

Me too please. And some more rear shots. That's what I am doing as well. Got my Nismo wing sitting waiting.

Very nice! How's the fitment of the AJ fenders?

Realale 03-05-2014 02:21 PM

They are good. Could be better, but I've seen worse from CS

AJ fenders have better fitment than CS fenders? I am just curious.

Realale 03-05-2014 11:38 PM

I know it's the wrong thread but I'll post a shot of the fender gap this weekend.

Ire 03-06-2014 05:22 PM
