Yep, I plan to do Swift. I was thinking coilovers first, but leaning towards just springs since I only care about performance not looks from a drop, and I know that only the best coils will actually give a handling improvement on a car like the Z, which is like 3-5k for maybe a 5-10% handling gain.

Since my car will only see light track duty, I figure just do the Swifts so long as the handling stays consistent.

Are you on stock struts? I definitely want to do KONI's if I do the springs

Sorry for late response guys haha! a lot of work at job... Yes bro im on stock struts right now but eventually im going to move to Koni Yellow... a lot of good reviews here on the forum

How much drop do you get out of these springs Carlitos?

I think is the same that the specs said hahah! 1.25 front and 1.0 rear... i have to said for me is the perfect drop... even if i install coilovers i want the same drop :tup here is a side pic of my Z soo you can see the gap between the wheels and the fender ;)

That's perfect! That's probably what I'll do next. I'm just concerned about having to roll my fenders since my front wheels stick out a tiny bit and also will need to be super cautious that I don't mess up the front lip.

Im definitely planning on KONI with the Swift. IDK how you guys can rock front lips and not destroy em, I already scrape everywhere just with the little stock sport lip underneath.

That's my problem. I already scrape as is!!

I really don't know how Carlitos can keep that car so nice and clean because I know the roads in PR are not the best!!! I would destroy a tank driving in PR.

Hmm.. My wish would be to one day have a Turbo Kit for it, but I'm not holding my breath.
I would like to install new headers and test pipes. For the headers I would rather take it to a shop, but it's hard to find shops around my area to work on custom parts etc. Not sure if a Nissan Dealer would do it.

D.Stillwell 12-30-2015 01:47 PM

^^ Yeah IDK, its not easy living the low life.

As for headers, I think they're fairly useless other than more sound. Just get TP and bigger true dual exhaust.

But the most important thing is always the tune. Example: I put on Stillen G3 intake and Stillen exhaust, car gained 9whp and like 4wtq up from stock baseline with the parts and no tune. With the tune, the numbers became +30whp and + 10tq

Did you take your car to a shop to get it tune or did you buy one of those computer tuning devices?

Took to shop. AAM competition to be exact. Its well worth it tho man, plus you get the Uprev license once you,do it ao future mods and dyno runs for tune will be cheaper

Lol, tearing up the front splitter is just part of routine maintenance for me. I'm waiting on my third splitter in a year. The first met its end when I hit a rabbit at 80 mph and the other when I kissed a curb when parking it. The price I pay for vanity!!!
