Yeah the TR6060 is a vastly superior transmission to all the competition so far let's see what this one can really do.

The bigest concern I have about the rev-match tranny is if it will match the revs quick enough, or will you have to shift like a granny for it to work correctly.

That's a good question, but I rarely have to shift down fast, normally just up. When I'm down-shifting, my foot is usually on the brake anyway. Although, there are times that I down shift with haste if I need to start going QUICK. (Like when a cobra on the side of me just downshifted and now I know I'm about to race.... again.... and beat him... again...)

Hell yeah it is. I'm so stoked that I had a weird dream last night about me driving my old Firebird and I was really unhappy because I wasn't driving the 370z.

[QUOTE=bigdog1250;14116]Actually it does help on up shifts as well. I read that on one of the official Nissan documents.
And the man said "one" of the best manual transmissions on the market. This is what I thought that I read as well, thanks for the info.

LOL! I love how they're comparing it to a Pontiac G8! "This thing will blow the hell out of the G8."
I don't know if they realize that the G8 is going to be SERIOUS competition for the 370z. The G8 is putting a LOT of power down and LSx motors are REALLY easy and cheap to mod. The G8 just has a bit more weight, but it makes up for that in torque. However, I wouldn't take a G8 even if it had 500HP. It's ugly, especially next to the Z.

Very ugly but very fast. I have seen them running now in the low 13 second range.
