25.6k is pretty high, I usually just keep mine at 3200iso, ive been using my 16-85mm non-stop lately, I only use my 70-300mm for close up things, landscapes or things my 16-85mm cant reach.
Im getting better at learning the settings, I use the "P" professional setting now instead of auto, lowered the flash alittle bit as well. Angles & lighting are everything, still need to learn more tho.
