Bright outdoor shots are fine and even indoors with a speedlight flash is okay. It gets a little harder for those action shots and low light situations where a flash isn't feasable. I also usually don't like setting the ISO higher than I have to. It stays on ISO 100 95% of the time. Even with the latest camera noise reduction, it's just not as sharp using a higher ISO. f/2.8 would be awesome though. I just can't justify spending that much for pro glass.
