I'm talking to him on YouTube.

Him------In 45 seconds I put the car to 250 degrees, not 240. It clearly was 2 ticks below 260. And my car starts limiting at 260 and at that point, I stop driving. And "beat the ****" ouf the car? I was driving it easy for that road. I could upshifted into 3rd and kept the acceleration going. The 370z is a terrible car. I am sorry you feel otherwise. Comming from me, an owner, I think my opinion has more weight to it than most who do not own it

Me----------Yea thanks I'm an owner as well. Drving around at 4k, pulling it to redline then letting it fall back to 5-6k then hitting redline again is beating the **** out of it, and you did this several times. As I said on your vids the Z does have an oil temp issue but not all seem to suffer from it. Yours is not suffering from it. After all is said and done you did not get pass 240-250 so I see no problem. Putting an oil cooler on the car is a small price to pay for this great car which no matter what has happen to you takes very well to mods. You are the only person I have ever seen who modded there 370 and got no gains WTF??? At the end of your vid you mention that the Z is not worth the price. I payed about 34K out the door for my base+sport 6mt, you tell me what I could have prucahsed BRAND NEW for that money that was equipped the same way????

Him-----A Mustang GT and Camaro are both better comparing brand new price. COmpared to used cars, the 370z is garbage at that price. 996 Turbos, 2003 Vipers, C5/C6 Vettes and Z06, 2008 E63 AMG, this list goes on. A ton of vehicles for around $40k used that leave the Z in the dust is many categories other than performance. And I put money into the Z because I simply can. Im 23, and at 23 the insurance rates for a 2006-07 Z06 are $300/mo for me until I'm 25 according to my insurance company. For the year and 9 months I have had the car, it has disappointed me more than it has supprised, amazed, shocked, and entertained. I expected a lot more from it. I respect your opinion that you like the car, I hate it.

Me----The new 5.0 I will say is a good car, but with its solid rear and optional front only brembos it falls short on my list of cars I want. The Camaro is just plain garbage with its OHV motor and stupid weight. I dont know how much you payed for your Z but I could not buy a 03 Viper, E63 AMG etc, HOW BAD DID YOU GET RIPPED OFF????? I find no problems with my Z, and at 34K I think its one hell of a deal.

Well this thread is entertaining I wish I got a chance to watch the video's before they went private. I have only experienced limp mode once and that was after pulling an evo from a 30 roll and I am glad he did a ricer fly by when I tried to line up at the light b/c I would have been done LOL In the end we all love our car and we know the short falls but we know how to fix them so for him to post a video shows ignorance of our beloved Z.

This guy brags about how he "tracks" his car. Running a 1/8 mile and Autox is not considered "tracking". An AutoX course at Qualcomm stadium isn't even a mile, if that. AutoX is harder on the brakes then it is on the engine. And don't even get me started on the 1/8th mile drag strip?! Besides, both these events only allow you to run it once, then you park and let it cool. At what point does it overheat????

One Sunday morning, I hit 240 going through the entire GMR with a 5000RPM limit...never over past that. Yeah, this car does have its issues with oil temps after hitting redline, but if the redline is around 6200 RPM like the first gen 350z, I don't see an issue with temps as well.

And a NISMO Oil cooler should be more than enough for his issues. I mean, if there's an issue, learn to deal with it and not just be a baby. For all I know, his parents bought the car and he still couldn't afford a stillen oil cooler kit. If this was a Miata, he probably complain how little power it has for a "sports" car.

Yeah...just like EVERYONE ELSE IN THE FREAKEN FORUM, he probably did something wrong with the car. I am mechanically sound, but when I saw the 370z, I knew many aspects of the car is already beyond my capabilities. So shops like Corner3 get my vote as a place to go to get things done without me spending hours figuring how it should be done.

Dude he is complaining about stupid oil temperature. A part of my FUEL PUMP BROKE OFF INSIDE THE GAS TANK, I should be the one complaining....
