As intrusive as VDC is, it seems to do a good job of sorting out these kinds of unexpected situations. If anything, the takeaway from this is keep VDC on unless you are very familiar with the condition of the roads you are driving on... or shut it off and stay within the speed limit

#2 rule of drive club is to ensure rule #1 is followed.
#3 rule of drive club is to not push the limits around other cars or homes.
