I was referring to oil cooler, brake pads, etc. I don't think I would last very long on the track without those. The nearest track is also like 3 hrs away so it might not be worth it. I might do something like autocross in the mean time though.

You drive at way to high of an rpm for the street.. you could go even faster if you stay in a lower gear and just let your momentum carry you through turns. As far as your "incident",It wasnt that bad, the car straightened itself out for you, you were lucky. You just have to be more careful, being that there are other cars sharing the road with you..
The stock Z is a lot of fun at the track, I did quite a few events when mine was bone stock (just the diff and pads). Its just a lot more fun when its turbo

This is why its risky to do this on public roads....a little dirt patch or bump unsettling a loaded suspension and next thing you know you're in someone's yard.

Man that's crazy. Every time I begin to spin out in the rain, VDC always saves me.

I don't get it...?
What was so wrong about this video?
Seems like a normal cruise to me.

... watch around the 1:15 mark.

Not to mention he is going much faster than the posted 30mph speed limit.

Scary especially with those pot holes... even at safe speeds and taking a turn, hitting those pot holes is an eye opener. BTW, can you do this in 3D?

OH haha!
Yes I definetly would not want to be posting this video knowing how many cops patrol this forums and they probably know your Z now!

I agree...that little kick out at 1:15 wasn't much to get your panties all bunched up over! The Z has a tendency to snap out pretty hard sometimes, but I guess after a while you understand your setups limits and are more ready for it when it can happen (especially if you always drive around with VDC off). The Z is actually a very easy car to learn to control when you're Tokyo Drifting around town, accidental or not.
