not a fair comparison for a car outgunned by 50hp or so, plus those carrera's had the PDK and PDK=win (i got to drive a few at the dealership, they were fantastic)

Aside from the 50 hp difference, check out their weight as well. Porsche is probably the most enthusiast oriented auto maker right now.

During the battle, the Z driver said "Z is fast in the corners, but doesn't have the power needed". Pretty much sums it up.

However, I went back to the old Best Motoring battle of the 370Z vs. CaymanS vs. 911 vs. S2K vs. 135i. The normal Z is faster than the Nismo S-Tune!

370Z: Best Lap 1.06.7, Time Attack 1.06.6
S-Tune: Best Lap 1.07.1, Time Attack 1.06.8

What they really need to do is have a battle with the new 350 hp NISMO 370Z that just made its debut.
