How can you get an engine so full of sludge in only a few years?

Default How can you get an engine so full of sludge in only a few years?

Tore this bad boy down yesterday, I don't think I've ever seen so much sludge in an engine. How you can accumulate so much oil sludge in your engine when the earliest you could have bought it was only a few years ago?

Obviously not changing your oil, but good GOD when you purchase a sports car like this you might just want to take care of it a little better.

It sure is surprising what some people will do, or not do to something other really appreciate. Maybe a swift kick to the throat, that may get some sence moving in there.

Yup, pulled the pan off a VQ37 to find this mess. To the left of the oil pickup tube you can see where I slid my finger through the sludge, it's caked super thick on everything.

And maybe because this was from a G37.... maybe before Nissan changed the oil spec (?)
