Please give me your oppinions about camera angle

So with all the stupid drivers in California I decided to start recording myself and road whenever I am driving. I bought a relatively cheap ($300) camcorder which reacords onto SD memory and can do 1080@60p. I haven't recieved my high capacity SDHC card so I recorded at 720@30p due to only having 2 GB of space.

So here is the first recording in my car I made of the video:



I stopped by fry's to get an inverter so I don't have to always record off batteries and an extension cable as the power adapter did not have a very long cord and the video is from my Work -> Frys. In the future I will likely record at 1080@30p so I have enough recording time for my to/from work daily commute.

No need to watch the whole video as I just uploaded the whole thing. I am curious about what people think of the camera angle. Should I have it angled up more so its just on the road? I thought it would be good to see the tach/speedo as well as the cars in front of me but I was worried about one or the other being blurry.

I am thinking thinking that in the future I should turn on the parking lights so the dash lights up so the instrument panel can be seen better as there was too much reflection on the road causing the tach/speedo/etc.. to not be able to be seen in a lot of the vid.

I am guessing if I focused it more on the road it would probably give higher quality video's but I was pretty darn impressed with the quality of what this relatively cheap camcorder gave me. I recorded a few other vids on my old $1000 HD based 1080@24p camcorder but it weighs too much making the video too bouncy *and* I am gonna kill the HD with all the bumps in the road so I bought a cheap one to specifically use for when driving.

Also I guess if I want to post on youtube I gotta be careful about having the radio on, lol.
