Photoshop Request: Cowl Hood Designs
So I was talking with a friend of mine that has a 350Z and he and I were discussing hoods for some reason. We talked about the various hood designs of the 350Z and there was mention of the Stillen hood that was required for the supercharger.
Here's that hood. He mentioned that the fluid design of the hood would be better suited for the 370Z. I tend to agree, but it got me thinking about what other designs this community could come up with. So I'm starting this thread to encourage you guys with talent to be creative. I'm sure as the 370Z ages we'll likely see more radical modifications that will require additional hood clearance, such as VK engine swaps and the probably-never-going-to-happen roots style supercharger. If someone out there wants to know what kind of hood designs the members here want, they need look no further. So that's it. Please throw in your two cents or design, whether it be a subtle approach or over the top. Most importantly, have fun with it. If you are just coming here to say that cowled hoods are for domestics and blah blah, then I suggest clicking away from the thread following reading this sentence. |

Hmmm... looks like the hood has a growth... something to do nothing but block the view.
If the current rendition of stillen S/C and any other S/C doesn't need it, why do it. Leave it to old camaro's and firebirds...
