This is what a 7 step* detail on a 70K mile car that hadn't been detailed in nearly a year looks like
*7 step detail = wash, clay, 2-step polish, sealant, glaze, wax

I spent about 13 hours over 3 days doing interior and exterior throughout. For just exterior, I spent about 8 hours by hand - you can cut this in half if you use a machine. This is the second time in four years that I have done a full detail. Normally, I just wash, clay, wax. The car looks better now than it did new (minus 70K miles worth of random $hit encountered at speed).
