That's BS, i doesn't matter where you bought it they MUST honor warranty work if it applies. I'd call nissian north america and complain if they flat out won't do it.

Thanks. Will do. The service technician was extremely knowledgeable and nice. i have taken my car to my local dealership for oil changes and with my previous Nissan as well. I don't think his intentions where meant to be bad.

100%. I bought my car in Atlanta and the dealership here in El Paso didn't even once mention taking it to the dealership i bought it at.
