I wonder why they chose the convertible with auto? I bet they were scared that the 370z would of destroyed the other two cars with a proper manual and a proper cover on top lol...

It always comes down to what cars they have from the manufactures at the time.
It sucks, but it is how it always is.

What bugs me is that they didn't give him two good runs in the Z. We the viewers couldn't care less about which host wins the battle. We care about the cars.

And while I enjoyed watching the TTRS, it's a $60k car. Maybe they should start doing comparos between the TTRS, the Corvette Z06 and GTR. I'm just saying.

We were discussing this in the UK and have said exactly what you guys have been saying over here.

The only fair thing to have done with the spec cars they chose would to let each driver drive each car and either taken the best or average times.

Sadly, it's all 'for TV' and we shouldn't be thinking, just watching...

How come the TT RS wasn't a vert? Just curious if they make them in verts, and if so, I wonder if things would have turned out differently...

Why does it seem like anytime they review or test the 370z, its never correct! angers me...

Are you sure they didn't mean pounds as in euro currency?

The TT-RS does come in roadster version. I too wonder why they didn't test this version. :confused:

Like someone else said, Audi's press people give Fifth Gear whatever they have available. Audi was simply more accommodating than Nissan was, so blame Nissan there.

Eh, the best driver got nudged out by a slightly worse driver in a better car. The worst driver took the Zed, and trailed on all three tests.

In short, I'd say those results were 95% due to the drivers and not the car, and are very inconclusive.

I complete disagree with this video. To be honest they used the convertible which is heavier and an automatic transmission. Not to say that the auto is no good because I have a Roadster in Auto, but the truth of the fact is the coupe with manual would of performed a lot better in my opinion.

I'd also say, throw in a more experienced driver and you would of gotten different results....

Wtf? More experienced driver? Do you guys know WHO Ben Collins is? He was the f-ing Stig on Top Gear for the past 5 years.

I'm not sad that our car is being compared to two cars that cost a minimum of $15K more. Just means I got a great deal!

Either way, We all know what car would of won all 3 challanges if giving the mt and hard top option. The car would of been the 350z :0P lol jk but ya we all know the 370z would of reck shop in all three events.
