Crazy Custom Flat Black Z

This car is actually pretty simple overall... but the huge wheels and custom exit exhaust are 2 things that one of a kind. It may not be put together in the cleanest fashion, but you gotta respect the fact that's it's very different!

I kind of like it. It's different! I wonder what that exhaust sounds like.

theDreamer 10-05-2010 03:05 PM

Since they went with the custom exhaust through the bumper, they should have filled in the rear exhaust tip ovals.

They did... it just doesn't look very good.

This car gets a thumbs down from me... very poorly executed for the amount of money that surely went into this. Fail.

It honestly looks like they just pulled the flat black vinyl wrap over the holes to cover them. :icon14:

phelan 10-05-2010 03:26 PM

if they wanted to fill that oval in, they should've shaved down the details so it's flat.

looks ridiculous right now.

bullitt5897 10-05-2010 04:08 PM

The wheels look like DONKS... I respect the amount of time and effort that went into this car but I feel the wheels are a little too big. I would prefer to have seen an aftermarket bumper on the car too. Props for being unique and different.

Cmike2780 10-05-2010 04:33 PM

The flat black paint needs to be darker with a hint more gloss/satin finish to it. Flat black has been done to death, but I like the effort. The wheels are nice, but doesn't really go with the theme. A dark gunmetal finish would make more sense.

vipor 10-05-2010 04:46 PM

OMG those brakes....

kevr6 10-05-2010 06:02 PM

I like it!

Waiz 10-05-2010 08:33 PM

Wheels kill it for me but the exhaust relocation and Endless brakes are pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing!!

NYBladeZ 10-05-2010 09:12 PM

I like those wheels though I probably wouldn't get them that big

PapoZalsa 10-05-2010 09:27 PM

Not my cup of Tea!

flashburn 10-06-2010 07:27 AM

Blech, so tired of this "style".

2theextreme 10-06-2010 07:51 AM

Varis hood FTW!! :yum: Can't wait to get mine....only 4 more months to go! :rofl2:

dnasty370z 10-06-2010 09:04 AM

Mine aren't as light as his, but they are still lighter than most:
http://www.ericz.net/images/3rd-small.png

They could have been lighter, the paint shop just would of needed to mix more clear with the black paint. I think if you take it to a professional they could do any shade you wanted.

wh1te370z 10-06-2010 09:17 AM

Rear Windshield wiper??

If I'm not mistaken, the Japanese models still come with them:

In fact, all non-US models may. Excluding Canada, I believe. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure. :rofl2:

I have a shop down here that always paints my lights perfectly. He can do any color smoke you want. I'm doing the same darkness as the matte Z, it's perfect

OMGWTFBBQ 10-06-2010 10:17 AM

Wow. Even those wheels make the Endless BBK look small!!

I think the BBK is the only thing I like about this car. :icon14:

Although they did fill-in the exhaust ports (as mentioned by another member here) I too feel that should have gone a step further and done something with the lower portion altogether.

This is still one of my favorite 370Z schemes as it is such a raw statement on one mean looking Z! The custom exhaust must sound outlandish.

You think you can PM me the shop name and If your gonna do it like that z it's gonna look really tight I really don't like the completely blacked out look.

Zerafian 10-06-2010 01:27 PM

black out the lights and get some black rims...the brakes are sex but the whole car as it is doesnt vibe with me.

Falcor 10-06-2010 02:03 PM

Those rims are HIDEOUS! Maybe they would be ok on another car, but man those look terrible on this one.

dirTy_shoeZ 10-06-2010 02:30 PM

yeah i kinda like it too..i do like the exhaust tho awkwardly enough, thats not common for me to like **** like this.

The welds on that exhaust look amazing!

And look at the yellow Zele 370Z in the background :)

Nikon FM 10-07-2010 06:24 PM

The car needs a monster size wing?
