Thumbs up Yet more accolades

Hello. Just wanted to mention that the 370Z gets yet another very flattering write up, this time in the January issue of Top Gear. The only complaint is noise related and has been noted on here.

Shane D

PS: The reason I am so late noting this is that the English magazines seem to take forever to get to Canada

Does anyone know if the Z is or going to be on the top gear show?

No idea in the great white north. We have still have not gotten to see the most current season (a couple of months ago) on BBC Canada. I just finished watching an episode that was from 2008. It featured the GTR in a race across Japan.
According to the magazine their next season starts in the spring.

At the rate we are going, the upcoming season should air in Canada sometime in mid to late 2010!!

The one that is airing right now, I just saw last week was the bugatti and the zonda. What season is that from?

Gotta luv that show. I like the cars they show (well some of them) and I like the way they critique the cars without beating around the bush. One of my favorite episode was when they came to USA and was showing the zr1, caddy, and the new challenger, they said dodge wouldn't lend them a car because they talked bad about them, so what they did is went ahead and bought one. Gotta luv'em for doing that.

I also read in the paper that when they came here people were throwing crap at them LOL. Sometimes us americans can be a little to sensitive.

Is the noise you are referencing the noise from the rear wheel wells?

It was regarding the noise/vibration from the shifter.

That is from mid season 12, episode 4 if memory serves me correctly.

I am sure they will have the 370 on the show, I look forward to hearing what Clarkson has to say about it.

I saw the ZR1, CTS-V, Challenger SRT8 episode. The ZR1 is a very impressive car. Jeremy drove it the entire show and loved it.

The 370Z is bound to be on TopGear - but the first ones aren't arriving here until Julyish, so don't hold your breath.

I too will be interested to see what the nob clarkson says about it, after his ridiculous slurs on the 350Z.

ps - the second TopGear review of the GTR (the programme after the race across Japan) was a really good film. Catch it if you haven't seen it yet. Clarknob was very complimentary and the images were to die for.

Please don't confuse the UK Top Gear (magazine) with the UK Top Gear (TV show) - They are two VERY different beasts, although they pretend/seem to be linked.

Top Gear Magazine is a decent, self-respecting motoring journal, whereas Top Gear TV Show is merely a self-indulgent (some may say, "entertaining") platform for You-Know-Who to boost his already over-inflated sense of self importance.

For example, Top Gear MAGAZINE made the 350z its car of the year when it was first launched, but simultaneously Clarktw@t and his Top Gear TV show threw the Z in the dustbin. Just my opinion

I hope that Clarkar$e eats a little humble pie when/if he reviews the 370z, but funnily enough I'm not too hopeful - he'll probably see it as another opportunity to be 'controversial' (ie., pathetic).
