Pic request: 40th Anniversary with non stock rims?

Hello there guys

I've been looking at the picture gallery (not all the pictures, there are lots!) and i couldn't find any 40th Anniversary with other than powdercoated rims (stock).

Seen black 370z car with other rims tho, but would like to see the 40th with the "purple" finish paint and different rims, any of you guys seen that?

"purple" finish???? The 40th is a dark gray. Do you mean the black cherry?

I really mean the dark grey, but it looks kinda purple under indoor lights (showrooms pictures at least!).

So far i've seen only 1 40th anni with non stock rims, but can't find the picture right now.

The think is i'm not sure what to do, go for red 370z and buy black rims with a touch of red in them (don't know how u guys call the rims with the red border on them but i love them) o just get the 40th and put the same black + red rims? (to match calipers and interior?)

Here's mine...I need spacers. This was right after I lowered it, so the springs will settle a bit.

They look nice but maybe to flashy for my taste.
I was thinking black rims but im afraid that they won't look good enough....

I guess is has a hint of purple in certain lights.

Someone has a 40th with nismo wheels but I can't find any pictures.

They may be too flashy for me, too. Haha. It's love/hate relationship. I'm always on the lookout for my next set of wheels. Or I might rebuild the wheels with different lips and powdercoat them.

Thing is i want to try look around as much as possible before i decide what set of rims i would like to have...

I find it difficult to "match" rims with the 40th anniversary dark grey body color!
The rims you have really get the attention from anyone that passes by...

I still have to order the car, and i can't decide myself, 40th anni dark grey or "deep" red

I think that the darker rays rims that come with it matches really well with the 40th color.

I really like the bright finish on 98's car - I think that's probably one of the best choices out side of black or a gun metal color.

My new wheels arrive today. I'll post pictures for you all. They are totally different than the 20" full polished IForgeds I have on now. The new wheels are 19", step lip, matte black face, more aggressive offsets.
