Pic request: 370z engine bay w/stillen g3's and Seibon engine cover.

I've searched high and low... and after 30 minutes of browsing and searching it's time to call it quits.

Anyone have a picture of an engine bay with stillen g3's and cf engine cover? I remember seeing a magnetic black Z on here with them, but cant find the thread for the life of me.

It is, but that is not my engine bad....yet. ;)
Actually, the only difference for mine is the polished bar and I do not have stillen gen 3 anymore.

Password JDM

ha.. just saw this thread.. thats my car in the pic up there.. And yes thats the stock strut bar in Black Chrome, done by Rick @ VIPstatus.

Seibon CF cover, Password:JDM CF Compartment covers and Radiator Cooling plate thingy. Even though the CF is done by 2 different companies, the weave/look of the CF matches pretty well.

Usually if the two pieces use the same pattern (2x2 or 1x1) they will look close unless one company things they should make the pattern in some unique direction.
How is the strut bar holding up?

Dark_Sub_Rosa 01-03-2011 05:21 PM

Ah so it's actually chromed not just polished.

GZ3 01-03-2011 06:38 PM

looks beautiful

Liquid_G 01-04-2011 12:35 PM

So far so good.. Hasn't lost any color or anything with the engine temps.. still looking good.

metz 01-04-2011 12:37 PM

Did you have trouble with the front jdm cover not fitting or making the hood prop up after opening?

Liquid_G 01-05-2011 12:42 PM

It's not exact thats for sure, but I think people here make it out to be a bigger problem than it really is.. You just have to muscle in some of the clips as they don't all line up exactly. But never any problems opening/closing the hood though.

And yes it does cover the washer fluid bottle, but honestly, I've had my car since August 09 and still have factory fluid in there. I'm sure i'm not the only one.

metz 01-05-2011 12:50 PM

Yeah I dont care about the washer fluid, I just saw where Docaam was saying the hood is propped up on one side in some of his new pics because of the jdm cover. I wasnt sure if this was a common issue or not.
