oooh, pretty. Not the girls' hair so much though.

Looks identical to the Euro spec. The rear fog, wiper, even the steering wheel, but we already new it would be on that side Interesting choice for the wheels for the display model.

Edit: Wait, they get the JDM rear license clips? No fair. And their plastic plates are too bloody wide and not tall enough for them.

It's identical but Euro spec has headlight washer

Grrr - Headlight washer - grrrrrrrrr

With a shiny, newly washed and polished black car, every time* you use the screenwash with the headlamps switched on you get s*** all over the bonnet & front wings from those damn headlamp washers. Grrrr I hate them.

*well, first time you use them, then every 10th squirt after that, but the damage is done on the first squirt. The only solution is to turn the headlamps off while you're squirting the washers, because you can't disconnect the system!

Edit - Nissan marketing - "Boomerang Inspired" hahahahahaha

I was at the Melbourne Motor Show too. The headlight washers are in the Australian specs as standard, and also electric folding mirrors (which I didn't know the Z had). I don't get the point of the headlight washers. The front would look better without them. Those 18" are going to be standard. I *hope* they will have the 19" as an option (surely they will?). According to the specs the navigation system will be DVD based. Looks like they won't have the 9.3gb hd?

Also, on the platform it said 'overseas model shown'.

I think "electric" and "folding" were meant to have an "&" in there. What was the last car with manual window controls? I don't think there's been a car since 2000 that wasn't electric.

I know they are electric door mirrors, but it also says 'electric folding door mirrors' so they fold in.

I have heard that Australia wont have a base version at all. Just the one fully optioned version with Nav, etc, but with only 18" wheels for some reason. The guy I spoke to a few months ago at Nissan said the 19" will come later in 2010 as an option. Who cares, you will need some decent Volks anyway!

2010? Man that's insane. I wanted to buy the car when it's new. Surely they could have the 19s as an option right from the beginning? What are they smoking at Nissan?
