Incidentally, a gap between the two front teeth is thought to be highly attractive in several parts of Africa. I quite like it myself, too.

Also just like "The wife of Bath" in Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales the character had a gap between her teeth, this is to signify promiscuity, and was widely recognized as a physical trait of promiscuity in the 14th century.
