if Nissan came out with one, that was a stiff/rigid as the current coupe, i would be on it like a fat kid on cake! This would also require a color change to blue...

I really like Targa tops but for me the rear of the 370Z is too bulky to carry off the look. With the 350Z's slightly longer and sleeker lines it might be OK.

Shame because I'd love it in principal.

Looks good but Nissan isn't even remotely thinking of doing this.

We finally got to drive ours about 3 weeks ago and it was better than our z32. The wind noise was only maybe 1/2 of the t-top. We are looking into rigidity testing. This is a prototype and so far the research that was done adds up, but data will show the facts.

Sub Rosa, I’m hoping they are at least thinking of it. They had the t-tops back in the 90s. But, maybe just wishful thinking on our part.

It's shocking that they haven't done a targa top for the Z. I guess maybe it was either the convertible or something like the targa or t-tops, but not both. The vert won. It's sad really, cuz I'd be all over it, and I'm pretty sure I'm just one of many...

Well, if we (Revoltion Kustomz, my wife, and I) get this all pinned down, it may turn into a kit. Who knows? That's what we would like to see. We don't wanna be the only targa out there.

We should know more in a couple of months. We would have to show the pros and cons with this mod. Every mod has at least one or both.

Thanks!

looks great but I think its a bad idea because if top is open, the air will rush right into the trunk thus creating a giantic paracheut holding the car back. no?
