This was talked about at length for the 350Z. The one guy that supposedly had it done was full of it. I actually researched it becuase I was considering it when my hood popped up and damaged my roof, however it would cost 10G's to do. I did not want to do that to my Z. If my car were a salvage rebuild I probably would have.

Well in order to bolster the loss of structural integrity, you've got to add some extra poundage FTL.
Car looks like a good concept but the one in the picture looks a bit "cholo hooptie" to me. I mean, is that a cross hanging in the rvm?? lol |
