Default 40th anniversary Graphite or Magnetic Black?

Hi guys,

i visited nissan usa and saw that u guys doesnīt have the option to order the edt. in magnetic black. I life in germany and ordered the edt in magnetic black. Itīs called 370z 40th anniversary edition Black edition. The dealer told me that it will be here at april the 16th. This edt is limited to 370 for the whole european market.

Well I canīt wait anymore its damn hard not to know how its gonna look like. I searched the net for a pic, but couldntīt found any pics. So could it be that this version (40th edt as black) is limited for europe only.

Or does anyone already got the european version in Black? If not im gonna post some pics in 2 1/2 weeks, when i get mines.

We only get 40 quartz here. You will have a very rare car indeed. Post pics when you get it!

I see it has Nav too. Does the 40th not have Nav available in the States? Every one I've seen on Nissan's site inventory is without. That makes me sad. I'm still leaning toward getting it though.

Nav package isn't shown for the 40th Z on nissanusa's site.

If you can choose I would go with the Quartz version... Black is nice, but you can buy a standard black 370 as well, you can't buy a standard quartz... And although I'm biased, the color is great, dark gray at times, purple at other times...

don't get the black.

its swirl, scratch, chip heaven.

+ this is just the normal black as far as I can see. nothing special about it.

if you want the 40th get the exclusive color not the color everybody can use

I've had my 40th for about 3 weeks now and the color is pretty different in every type of lighting the car encounters. It is rather amazing the spectrum of colors you see in the car over the course of several days.

Before the 40th came out, I was planning on getting Silver or Black. The 40th Graphite is a very nice combination of both. The subtle purple undertones are there under certain lighting and to me, it makes the color even more intriguing and special.

I drove a black Integra GSR for years and I can tell you that the 40th Graphite is MUCH easier to deal with. It looks cleaner for longer and doesn't show dirt or defects anywhere near as bad.

Either way you go - it's a win! Black is gorgeous.

Finally, the 40th is NOT available with Nav or AT transmission in the States, unfortunately. Europe and Japan definitely got an added bit of sweetness with the inclusion of the Nav.

Darm... I wonder why the State does not have Nav as an option. It's like all goodies are provided in Europe and Japan. SAD.
