Thanks NG.

I'm just curious OP, are you really painting the Z to white? I mean, can you imagine the mods you can do with the money you're going to spend on repainting? Also not to mention, you resale value goes down significantly and you will have hard time passing inspection (since the paint no longer matches your registration) and you gotta do paperwork at wonderful DMV if do decide to change the color legally in book. Again just my

What about the door jams, hatch and engine bay. That's where it starts to get expensive.

whats a wrap?!!

AK...yea I'm not happy with the black..I've had to touch up way too many scratches and it's getting old. Plus I'd like mine to be different. I like the black/white look tho. As far as the value dropping, I'm planning on keeping this car until it becomes a classic like the others ..40 years from now haha. I'll check out my local laws on the paint thing and see if it's difficult, which if it's THAT bad..I may have to reconsider But the paint job isn't too costly, $3600..I can manage that and it's a good price to me and the body shop I'm going to has been voted best in the County and plus, he's repainted a few parts on my 350 and I was very satisfied so it's all good.

Since my car is already black...the only things to get painted white are the doors, fenders, front/rear bumpers and sides. And he is painting the door jams also white. BUT..since i already have a blue thing going for the inside...I bought some blue paint for the engine bay and the intake shields. It sounds like alot, but IMO it will looks awesome. I'm not going to do much more to my car except for a different exhaust, leather seats, headers, and radio.

I personally would never repaint but it's your car, it's your call

Good luck though either way.

it's not like it's a clearbra where you can see through the vinyl and the air bubbles are there. even if you get air bubbles, you probably wouldn't notice because they'd be pretty tiny.

That GTR video was cool!

A good shop should have next to nothing in air bubbles. My tail light overlays were super thick vinyl wrap. After a few months in the sun, I have no bubbles at all.

Yea the wrap looks pretty good, not my style tho..all I can imagine is what if I get a scratch on it and it starts peeling...have to get it redone..and that stickiness thats left over. I'll take my chance with a new paint job. Probably the same price anyways
