Powerhouse Amuse - RS Silent Exhaust, STTI (Super Tough Titanium) for 370Z

1 Attachment(s)
Hi I am new to this 370z forum.

I had 07 350z 6speed and now I got 08 Acura TSX 5 speed auto. I am waiting for New 09 OB 370Z Touring+Sports and nav.

Amuse Power House which is my favorite tuning parts came with sexy looking Full Titanium Exhaust

This exquisite exhaust is yet another work of functional art by Powerhouse Amuse. Produced in full titanium for maximum weight reduction, this exhaust keeps the sound sporty but still great for daily driving.

Aside from order made custom finishes (exhaust tip and canister body are customizable), the real benefit is increased performance!

The numbers speak for themselves:
19lbs weight savings over stock
21 horsepower increase over the entire powerband

Slidefox 01-16-2009 01:54 PM

First off, Welcome to the site!! :hello:

Secondly, Are you just posting up the Amuse exhaust or do you have a questions on it? :)

Forget 21 horsepower for that stupid overpriced y pipe back exhaust!!!most restriction are from the y pipe who is 1,75" and the cats....
i believe you need hi flow cats and complete catbach to claim anything remotely close to 21 hp ont the 370 or g37 for that matter...aint worth 4700 hard hearned
If that exhaust in your pic produces 21 hp na on a 370 ill gradly pay it for you

$4,700 is a a bit too high, the last exhaust was about $3,600 for the 350z.

Maybe I'll go with the MCR exhaust instead.

chill out dawg. I just posted from 370ztune. I am not forcing you guys to buy this exhaust system. I am trying to give you guys some info people who does not know about this exhaust.

frost 01-16-2009 07:29 PM

That's far over what I'm willing to pay for an exhaust, but it looks great for anyone who is into it!

Crash 01-16-2009 09:04 PM

Wow... Pricey. I'd say that $4700 would be better spent on forced induction. Another $2300 and you'd have 500WHP! Then who cares about the weight reduction?

I know this isn't your product, but I have to say that I'd NEVER spend that kind of money on cat-back exhaust. Although, I'd be happy to take it if someone else wants to buy it for me. ;)

Costing that much money, anyone who buys it better hope I don't see those tips poking out while parked at a store. The owner may come back to find his exhaust missing. :icon17:

Crash 01-16-2009 10:02 PM

LOL! Missing and re-sold before they could get the groceries in the hatch! :D

Probably wouldn't even notice it until he started it up. Then he would probably discover he loved the sound of running open headers and mentally thank me for taking his exhaust. :icon17:

shumby 01-16-2009 10:22 PM

ya that exhaust is available for the G37 but no one on myg37.com has bought it yet. So far Fast Intentions and Borla have the best sound and gains this from independent dyno's

frost 01-16-2009 10:23 PM

I have a borla on my three-fiddy, love the sound.

GT Motoring 01-17-2009 12:47 AM

Amuse has yet to realease the 370Z exhausts. They wil release an R1 ( sporty ) and RS slient ( not as loud and costs more ). We asked them about whats upcoming for the 370 in our meeting there last week.

We expect pricing to be released in next 2 mos.

LiquidZ 01-17-2009 08:50 PM

Did any of the aftermarket exhaust companies for the 350z feature a drone-less exhaust? I rode in a 350z with a Borla exhaust and I couldn't even hear myself talk.

Crash 01-17-2009 09:40 PM

^^^ I agree. I don't like when I can hear a droning sound in my cab. Sure, I like the car to sound good, but I don't want to listen to it if my windows aren't down.

frost 01-18-2009 12:59 AM

I don't notice drone from my borla, but I don't do a lot of highway cruising either.

zsport1 01-18-2009 02:09 AM

Yep, that exhaust is waaaaaaay over priced. Even if it's for the 350Z. I can think of much better things to spend that $ on my Z. :driving:

frost 01-18-2009 12:01 PM

I'm under yer car, stealin yer $4K exhaust

Dude! Get out from under my car!!! Dang it... you owned me...

tvfreakazoid 01-18-2009 05:51 PM

What's a good exhaust system that will sound like a F1 car. That's the kind of exhaust system I want to get, of course it needs to be light in weight as well.

Holly **** that's way to much money.:icon14:

tvfreakazoid 01-18-2009 05:56 PM

How does it sound like? Is it nice and loud and has a deep growl? That's type of exhaust I would prefer to have.

Fast Intentions has the sound you are looking for. I believe the borla has the same sound too but have not heard it in person. But the Fast intentions is kick A$$

KameezGuru 01-18-2009 05:59 PM

I for one like the Zele Exhaust (ZELE Titanium Muffler Type2). Not sure about cost but I like the way it looks

What do you mean by droning sound? I have to agree with you, I like a good deep exhaust sound, but I wouldn't like to hear it all the time.
What i really like the sounds of the Ferrari's and lambo's. They sound good, and when you punch it hard, it even sounds better.

Crash 01-18-2009 11:07 PM

Droning is when the exhaust vibrates into the cab. At a steady speed (above 65MPH) you'll hear that save vibrating noise loud enough in the cab that you really can't ignore it. It will drone when the sound frequency changes a little back and forth.
