Look at Nelson Engines too. They freshened up a pair of boat engines for a guy I used to work with. It was the cost of a house. Nelson Racing Engines - #Extreme Horsepower Twin Turbo Engines, Supercharged Engines, LSX Engines!

Looks like right after he hit 3rd gear, he lid the tires up at mid track. Give him credit for saving his azz. Broke the axle. Then broke something else on the Toy.

I've had my share of misery on the strip.

1/4 mile is tough on driveline parts. Stick with the 1/2 mile. Where you don't have to launch as hard.

I don't know what that dude is doing for motor mounts, but what ever they are... they're not right.
If he had a stand alone ECU and drive speed sensors he could do some pretty trick anti-slip tuning. |

I'm gonna be rolling Freshkicks style soon with 17" Weld rear. I am gonna hit the 1/4 just to break into the 10s. All I need to see is a 10.99 or better after that it's roll and 1/2 mile.

His launch control is some solenoid on the clutch line. It slows the clutch release in 1st gear.

I was saying that he could take wheel speed sensors and look at the difference between the front wheel and rear wheel. Based off duration of slip and speed difference, power can be adjusted accordingly; as opposed to slamming into the wall at 100mph due to traction loss. |
