i wouldn't mind going lower if i didn't have to deal with driveways. i removed the sport package front spoiler and the air deflector things in front of each front wheels which helped a lot. don't scrape much as long as i angle and be careful on driveway. i did scrape the middle of my car going over a hump shaped driveway, urgh. and thanks again for the compliments!!!

I got the same wheels with about the same drop on my white 370z. Main difference is tire size(305/275) but I don't recommend that tire size..should have gotten 265 or 255 fronts. I'll get some pics put up when I can, I just don't wanna throw up crappy digital camera pics that I take because I = fail with a camera.

^Why wouldn't you use a 275 front again? Issues?

Yeah the 275 doesn't have any usual issues you would normally encounter except I can't go as low as I want due to this bump on the fender liner that will occasionally scrape. The other issue is the actual Diameter of the tire is greater than that of the rear 305/30 I run so I have to run the suspension at a lower ride height just to get the front as low/lower than the rear. I've got the front as low as it will go and am only barely lower than the rear. Apparently there is an issue if the front is higher than the rear(I can't explain it) but something with steering angle as compared with the angle of the rest of the car in reference to the ground and it causes the steering wheel to act weird (i.e. quiver at speeds higher than 65-70) I've had the car and it still does it but when I lower the front to be lower than the rear it goes away completely. No Idea and I've never heard of this before. Clif: Having a larger diameter front setup compared to rear causes funky issues with handling. |

[QUOTE=teejnut;351813]thanks! i was in between the ssr type f and volk ce28n. the ssr were cheaper, looks similar, and pretty light.
This is just getting weirder and weirder, I was in the exactly same boat with these and the ce28n only I would say these wheels are "cheaper" I just got a great deal on them through Lou as you did ! I'll try to get some pics of my car tonight and throw them up ! |
