158mph electronically limited i loved how it was a steady climb up until about 145

The gauge will go to 158, but the actual speed will still be 155. Most gauges now give you a 2-3mph buffer-zone. This is why my tC tops out on the gauge at 127, but is governed at 124 mph (FTL) Trust me I know, autobahn FTW! :tup:

That again like he said is quick acceleration up to 145mph, then it kind of levels off. But at that point, its pretty much just for numbers, not for the seat g's.

BTW - Was that you and your Z AK??? I'm curious if so where you managed to have enough room to cruise...

lol.. no that's not mine. I think the fastest I've went was 135 MPH. There is a airport close by me that I can try out the top speed. Maybe some day :driving:

the car just doesn't feel as fast as its going, having hit close to 115 on an actual track its crazy thinking that 40 more mph and i hit the limiter. I've been hitting close to 100 entering the freeway lately cause the power delivery is just so smooth

It was the same way with my tC on the autobahn. I dunno, it was like ' Igot used to the speed'. So the speed felt normal. When I'd be cruising @ 120mph, it felt like I was doing 60-80 mph, but now that I'm back in the states and having to do 60-80 it feels so slow. I miss being able to do whatever you want. :ugh2:

damn ive yet to go above 120 in my Z, i need to find a stretch where im cop free...or get a radar. San antonio raceway isnt a sufficient stretch of tarmac unless i wanna go into the hay
