the Sport Package, with 19-inch RAYS forged
wheels and Bridgestone Potenza tires, aerodynamic front and rear spoiler, larger
Nissan Sport Brakes, SynchroRev Match (6-speed manual transmission only) and
Viscous Limited Slip Differential;

^ That's what's included in the Sports Package. It doesn't say anything about the gear gauge. So I'm sure it will have it, with our without the Sports Package.

The sport package is such a rip off. But I'll gladly fork over the $3K for it.

^^^haha totally agree. It's such a rip off but without it, there's no point in getting a Z unless you're going to be modding the hell out of it.

How is the sports package a rip off? It doesn't include the best lsd, big brakes, or wheels. But i think you can sell the 19 inch wheels for at least $1000 making the sports package $2000. If you were to get better lsd, bbk it would be a lot more than $3k.

I don't think the base shows the gear the car is in because the base doesn't include the sensor in the transmission.

Well that would be a bummer because even my $19k Mazda 3 GS has the sensor in the transmission that indicates the gear you're in.
