Cool. Never seen the 3d effects done in wrap before.

not really my style but adding dimensional effects on the wrap opens a lot of avenues for neat things

Is it just my imagination, or did he somehow get a green lens on his headlights? Do the cops give him trouble for that?

what's the life span of a wrap ??, nice job but here in NE with all the chips i have due to road debris I think a wrap would last one year the most

Zbrah 02-07-2015 10:30 PM

Supposedly 3-4 years but most people usually don't even leave it on that long to know.

wow, I guess if money is no object that would be a good thing, now let me ask, do yo have to have it professionally removed?...I imagine glue residue on the paint must require a complete detailing including "claying" the entire car...

You don't have to, but we would highly recommend it if you had it professionally installed. Only because we remove the bumpers, doors, mirrors, headlights and taillights, etc to install. Those areas in between would be a pain to try to remove if you were to do it yourself in a timely fashion. Film removal can be a tricky thing as well if you don't understand the tension angles and proper temperatures for adhesive release. You could end up with a lot of glue left on the car, or in rare cases, damaging the clearcoat.

The material warranties span from 1-5 years. That covers basic adhesion and color control. Road debris would be no different than it hitting paint, except the film will absorb most debris without issue. Paint will scratch.

Paint protection films can be applied to wraps without much issue. Also, PPF is anywhere from 5-6mil in thickness, we wrap the front fascia at least to 5mil (multiple layers of films) to ensure your OEM paint will not get touched outside of debris that would really cause serious damage.

for reference, the car I drive daily has put on 30k miles since I installed her skin. It has chips, but you have to get up on it to see them, and they were caused by debris that also left tons of chips in my windshield. When I pull my vinyl off, the paint will be untouched and ready for a new color.

Wow I was thinking about wrapping my car this color. Well, back to the drawing board.
