So Nissan do not provide maintainance on new or used car?
This is the first time i buy a used Nissan, it still got 1 years factory warranty and more than 20k miles left until 30k miles expire.
So that mean nissan do not provide customer with free schedule maintainace? (like 5k 10k 20k 35k...etc service ?) I got an used Audi at 30k miles, all i do is drop the car at dealership and they provide the service (oil change, filter change, inpection......) . Audi give like 5-6 service on any new vehicle (these service cost 200-500$ when you have used all of your schedule maintainance) I always thought new car got everything free |

... Ummm... Almost no company does...
Toyota does because of their recall years back. Volvo does but doesn't advertise. BMW does and advertises. Audi... Does if you pay for it in advance... I think you haven't bought a lot of cars...

I'm sure most companies would if you payed for it upfront when you bought the car.
But then it's not free.

audi (and other euro's i suppose) rips people off in the beginning which includes your "free" maintenance.
it's not like they reimburse you if you DONT use their service. |

Nope. If it were new, you might get your first oil change free. It's not an Audi.

Anyway it is not too much for service, 30$ for oil, 25$ somthing for airfilter is fairly affordable. thanks for reps guys, that is what i always thought before. Last edited by dkinghl; 03-25-2014 at 03:48 PM. |

So a luxury car has included maintenance but a used Nissan doesn't?

jwick is right. depends on the dealer and any deals you made with the sales guy when you bought ur used car.
around here dealers usually give me a few first oil change unless it's some euro car. then they pay the first 3yrs of maintenance or something. |

There's no such thing as "free" anything. All that "free maintenance" that's included by some dealers has already been paid for by you, when you purchased the vehicle.
EDIT: I should also add that every dealership is a franchise, and it's up to the individual franchisee to decide whether or not they wish to offer complimentary services to their clients. Therefore, the "head office" which in this case is Nissan, actually has absolutely nothing to do with these services. Hopefully this clarifies any confusion that the OP may have.
