Could use some advice not starting

Battery tender, no startups during winter. I suggest you get a new battery and hook it up to the battery tender. Let it charge until float, then retry starting. The

Battery tender, no startups during winter.

The steering lock tends to fail when battery is weaker.
Your problem won't go away until you keep the battery better managed even if you get a new steering lock. Well, you can disable it though.

I agree 100% and as soon as this gets figured out it's coming back home guess just have to figure which one of my cars going to sit out , since we only have a two car garage.. I do think keeping it on a battery tender might have helped this situation..

Nissan wised up and deleted the ESCL mid-2011 (not sure about date).

IIRC, the TSB will cover you (all '09 are covered), even if you are out of warranty . See link in my sig for more info.
