Clutch issue!

I would change the fluid at the very least, even if the clutch does come back, that's some dirty crap in there.

I've started changing my clutch and brake fluid once a year under the assumption that the more dirty crap in the fluid, the more likely it is to get past the seals in the crappy OEM CMC or CSC. Its an easy DIY and only costs ~$50US for enough Motul RBF600 fluid for both systems.

Just wondering do you have any audit background? I'm in tax so I'm going to do the other three first leaving the hardest one to me last so I have more time to study.

What dealership are you taking too? Most won't do aftermarket, also post feedback in the warranty results

They're supposed to call me tomorrow morning to confirm the issue

Add a quick check to every other week or so prior to leaving.

Check your oil level, pop the section where the clutch reservoir, glance over the other fluids...

Atleast you will notice when things change with regular checks and can help reduce the chance of surprises.

Ok an update
Dealer just called me and said they need new cylinder, replace the clutch, and might need new flywheel. Quoted me $3500....
And to no one's surprise it wont be covered under warranty.
Taking it to another local shop and hoping the flywheel doesn't need to be changed sigh
Still gonna cost me around $1500 assuming flywheel si fine

The stock costs $1000 which im not willing to pay for

Good luck man ( Click to show/hide ) My wife worked for a local public accounting firm for almost 5 years after school while trying to pass those exams. They wouldn't even let her out of work on Saturdays during tax season to study for a Monday test. She was getting 73s on BEC three tests in a row even with Becker; it was brutal and costly. She finally got fed up and found a job in the private sector working under a CFO nearing retirement. She managed to pass all four tests easily within a year There's a reason the really big firms pay you $80K+ straight out of school to sit at a desk for six months and study and pass those tests.
