My clutch just suddenly lost all pressure does this mean my clutch is done? I don't think I can drive it normally at this point

More than likely CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder) failure, Clutch should be fine

thanks for the support as always kenchan

just called the stealership and they said they couldn't tell if it was a CSC failure issue until they diagnosed the car...guess I'm taking it to them since they said it might be covered under warranty...

Now i need to take the front bumper off so the tow truck can get my car onto the bed...

I have a CPA exam tomorrow morning @8am...the timing couldn't be any worse

You should be able to just bolt in the hook and a few boards will get you there, I've had to have my Z flatbeded a few times, and that's all we've ever had to do.

Oh and if you have warranty left then yes it should be covered.

stupid question... where can I locate it?
I couldn't find it

and also when I went to the car to check the fluid level, this is what I saw....

I'm assuming the cap at the top right corner belongs to brake fluid reservoir...

the cap was off and it was place on the windshield and the hood closed...

last time this hood was opened was when the dealership had it last month....

Could I have been driving over a month with the cap off like that?

wft?

edit: that's the clutch fluid reservoir smh.....

I've closed it but the level is very low

Would filling this up fix the issue?

I would top it off with brake fluid, close the top, let the car run and see if the pressure builds back up. If the clutch pedal comes back to normal and after driving the car, the fluid goes back down....it's your CSC. If your fluid does not leak and stays at the appropriate level then your problem my have been just the loss of fluid. Keep a check on the fluid level, as this will give you an answer to your problem. In the event you have to replace the CSC, I would not recommend going back to a stock one, as they have a short life span and will fail again! 50,000 miles and on my third one! This part is an on-going problem with standard transmissions and has been since 05 and the 350z. You may want to research the aftermarket CSC's, as they seem more durable than the stock ones!

I would be very surprised if your warranty covers it, as if it does, you are one of the few people, that Nissan has decided to cover it! Just, FYI

I would put money on it being your CSC. Even if your fluid level isn't dropping, the seals on the CSC could still be compromised and letting air get into the system. It's a common problem.

Don't get another OEM CSC if you can avoid it. There are several aftermarket ones available (check Z1 and ZSpeed). Make sure you also replace the CMC at the same time.

Since I see you have a Platinum Graphite, I assume it is out of warranty. Or do you have an extended warranty? If it's not under warranty, I recommend you try to find a high quality performance shop to do the work. Consider yourself lucky if the dealer agrees to install an aftermarket part. It's not totally unheard of, just extremely rare. If it's under warranty, your best bet may be to eat the cost of the aftermarket part of your choice ($300ish vs $100ish for OEM CSC) and get the dealer to do the labor under warranty. If you're really lucky, you might even get them to reimburse you the cost of an OEM CSC to offset your costs a bit. Don't hold your breath.

I will reiterate the CMC replacement. If you don't replace it, the chances are high that it will fail soon. They are prone to failure as well. Although it is not a labor-intensive install like the CSC.
