it does seem that way, but i saw a couple people comment on some other threads that don't even have 15,000 miles and it goes out. i go through traffic every day constantly shifting and i'm at 17,500 miles in 9 months and so far nothing.

but i do like the poll idea

yah, high repetition in short amount of time probably generates heat... keep it up, the seals break. probably something stupid simple as that.

^Yes I'm aware of that but I've just decided to go with oem since this shop only works with oem parts.

Changing shops and getting the right parts (at a significantly higher $) and having them shipped over overnight at this time is going to cost too much. (Z is my dd)

I'll just cross my fingers and hope they last another 50k lol
But this time I'm going to check the fluid level constantly to see if they're leaking

Just don't have the time or the funds to do this right

FWIW, a few days in a rental car is much cheaper than the extra $1000 you are going to pay for labor again when the replacement OEM CSC craps out. But I certainly understand when things come up suddenly it can be difficult to come up with the funds on short notice. That was one of the reasons that I replaced my CSC with the Z1 kit before it failed me. The primary reason was I drive out to Middle-of-nowhere, Texas pretty frequently and did not want to get stranded with no cell service and no traffic I could flag down.

My first one lasted the longest, the second one not so much, and the third was only about 5000 kms. drove the same the whole time, if anything I was harder on the car when I had warranty.

in ur case sounds more like dealer install fail.. and used some crappy fluid or something.
