You guys in cali. sure are lucky! I think the dealerships in nj aren't showing them b/c its winter here and they want to sell the remaining 350z's before they start hacking at the prices... Record a video of driving one someone! Please tell me if the engine drones. And most importantly, I wana know how the sync-rev is. |
wow. thts exciting. whts the price say on the touring?
tht pic of the rears is a good comparision for ur debating the spolier or not |

Initial Driving Impression:
The 370Z definitely seems like it shed some weight compared to the 350Z. The VQ37HR is definitely a great engine; makes strong and smooth linear power all the way up to redline. In stock form, the car seems to handle very well. Just a slight tug of the steering wheel gets you aligned with where you want to go and seems to react a bit quicker than the 350Z. Gearbox is a HUGE improvement from the 350Z; no notchiness, smooth and from what feels like to be shorter throws. The interior doesn't have that "cheap" NISSAN feel to it anymore. Interior noise has been significantly reduced and the interior design has definitely been stepped up to a big improvement. The cabin space does seem a bit more cramped but the lay out of the compartments in the rear seems to be more functional and easier for accessibility. The feature I was impressed with the most is the rev matching transmission. It reacts very fast and seems to be highly responsive so there is no lag in between shifting gears. It may take out the "race-car" feel of tracking the car but I really think it should help shave seconds off lap times on the track. Brakes have awesome modulation (4 Piston / 2 Piston Touring Model). The pedal feels MUCH stiffer than the 350Z factory BREMBO setup and bites very quickly. My only gripe about the car so far is the clutch. The clutch pedal is very soft and will need some getting used to as far as the engagement point. All in all, not too shabby! |
is it just the angle of the pic or the sunlight shining on it? or combination of both...
To me, the tail light looks different in the white/clear portion of the taillight. This one has more of a "altezza" style.. http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...4/SSPX0274.jpg compared to this one. http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/1585/cimg0790da0.jpg |

I mean we are in a recession and no one wants to use cash. I don't know how many are going to react to this mark up especially when people don't wana spend 40+ on a fully loaded model. I'm going to flip out if they mark up... |
