Default Difficulty shifting from 2nd to 3rd?

Hey guys, on my way home from work today I went to shift into 2nd and it seemed to take more effort than usual to do so, almost like the shifter was getting held up. This is also happening every now and then when trying to shift from 2nd to 3rd. I only have 900 miles on the car, so part of me wants to say it's just in my head, but I don't know. Any suggestions?

happens with new transmissions, the more you use it, the smoother it'll get, mine didnt get nice and smooth until about 2k, just make sure you clutch all the way in when you shift. BTW, these cars are known to have rough trannys, and sensitive clutches, comes with the territory. If it wont smooth out, clutch in, back to neutral, clutch in, then back into gear, usually works for me.

i had that issue with my mach...i finally figured it out...

it was me trying to forcefully shift it...

just ease up on the shifting and let it guide itself into gear...works everytime...

That makes me feel a little bit better, maybe I just have to finesse the gears a little more. It just seems like it was smoother when I first bought the car.
1st to 2nd has been especially rough lately for whatever reason.

Mine is smooth as buttah.. but i drive slow and shift pretty slow/smooth too. I just gently ease it in and it goes into gear perfectly.

One of the best 6speed trannys I have every used.
