Default Winter Tires/Rims

Unfortunly i have to drive my 370z for the first part of the winter this year since its my own vehical besides my motorbike. Yesterday we received the first snow fall of the year. It was only a few cm but with the stock tires on the car it provided no traction. I was driving 30kmh in a 60 zone, shifting at 2500-2700rpm...never even going to 3000rpm. Giving it about 10-15% throttle and my *** end was still drifting around corners and all over the place.

So i have a set of winter tires/rims from my old car but it doesnt fit...its off by 1-2mm. My question is what size is the bolt pattern and what are the smallest rims that will fit on our cars. When i tried to put the winters on (its a 205/60/R16) it looked like it wasnt going to clear the brake caliber. Also there was another bolt coming out of the brake rotor in between 2 studs...what is that bolt for? If someone could tell me what rim/tire size to get that would be awesome. Thanks

BTW...iiunno why i posted in this section...had a brain fart, mods if you want to move this to the tire/wheel section, go ahead.

Sorry for not having the answers to all your questions, but maybe the last one will be answered by the specs on this page:

CTD-Germany.com – Nissan 350Z, Nissan 370Z, Nissan GT-R News Blog Winterradsatz für Nissan 370Z

It´s in german, but the item list is universally understandable.
I might be getting this set by the end of October.
Either that or the same tyres with another Nissan OEM alu wheel...

Is it necessary to keep the staggered ratio or can we run 225 mm tires oon 18X8 all around?

Run what you want, no reason it has to be staggered.
