Stereo upgrade

I have an 370 09 base coupe, and want to upgrade the sound system. I would like to keep the dash unit and add an amplifyer and replacement speakers. Does any one have specific experience with an upgrade I am considering?

You should check with Nissan and see if the Bose system from the Touring can be retro'd. I can't imagine why not..................................

but imho i think you'll be happier getting an aftermarket HU. the base stereo is crap. can't even play MP3's... :(

there is a wiring harness you can use... search around the forum. then buy a high to low pass filter that converts speaker output from headunit to rca output for amplifier in. then buy amp and buy speakers and plug them all in.
