Is the WRX the only on par machine we should have to outdo? I would base this on 1/4 mile times, and track times.

Mustang GT
Camaro SS Challenger SRT8 FRS/BRZ are close on some tracks (more technical) STi/Evo Genesis Coupe (V6) I am sure there are others but that is a good list, also sticking with price here. I am sure we can go up against the bottom Porsche or some other Euro cars.

One of my friends works at a hyundai dealer. Swears that the Genesis is faster 0-60, faster top speed, handles better on a skidpad and any road course, brakes better, is cheaper, and is more reliable and made with better materials.

Of course he does. LOL I test drove a 2013 Genesis coupe(six cylinder) and it was nice for a Hyundai, that's about it. I proved to some guy that his V6 Gen coupe wasn't as fast as the wifes Z or my G37 coupe in the same week. I really like the Genesis (almost bought one), but basically it's a cheap knock-off of a G37. I'm sure there are plenty of people who feel differently, but I'll take the Japanese original over a Korean imitation any day. BTW my wifes Z will SMOKE my G37.

All of this is true except none of it. LOL. It is quicker on a roll though. But what you do get is a quite the bang for the buck in tech and luxury with a nice mix of power.

engine classification too right? because it's kinda unfair to compare a v4 turbo to a v6 na (even if they have similiar gross out puts)
they're just... different. but dreamer hit the list pretty well for production cars except he missed the miata (which is closer to the brz/frs than to the stangs) all honesty... Z is a true niche. v6 na 2 seat coupe. there aren't any other on the market with that spec. |
