Rather than doing an OA, can you tear down the engine and take measurements for any wear?

I thought I was driving a lot in a Z, 20k a year is nothing compared to 90 st lol I have less miles and I feel like I'm going through more stuff I've had two transmission put in for the 5th and 6th gear synchros this was done under warranty, had both front lower control arms bushings go bad, The big differential bushing was bad and they replaced the entire k member. Now I'm having problems with the parking brake making noise on the right rear and some noise when the car is on an even surface like going up my drive way (maybe sway bar?? anyone? lol). The fuel sending unit needs to get replaced soon really freaked me out the other day when I filled up and it said that I only had half a tank. took a day to fix itself and hasn't acted up since then. I've had the clutch pedal hit the floor and not come back had to have the car towed to the dealer and they only bled it and put gtr fluid every morning my pedal feels a bit soft until I start driving it and then it gets stiffer. The clutch is actually starting to slip (or the csc is getting stuck at times) because sometimes after i shift into second the rpms will jump but I wont go anywhere and I swear my foot is off the pedal and I go and feel the pedal and it feels like its stuck half way and feels soft like it lost pressure and it stinks so bad after that. I think thats it for now other the plastic nismo skid plate (under shroud, that went bad twice and finally bought the z speed one)

Didn't much matter since I was having it all replaced anyway. Did it at around 78,000 miles. |
