Just wondering if the oil consumption increased at higher mileage or it is about the same through out the 200k miles?

How about the transmission? Did the shifting get worse?
This will happen which is normal due to the tolerances between the piston rings and cylinder walls not being as tight due to normal wear.

that is true. I suppose I was interested in oil consumption in the relative term, say at 40k and 200k miles.

while it is normal for our Z motors to use a bit of oil even at low mileage, i have heard some honda engines do not burn any oil even at 100k miles.

Why are you comparing "some honda engines" to the 370Z's VQ engine?

BTW, "some" Chevy engines do not burn any oil even at 100k miles. And "some" Ford engines engines do not burn any oil even at 100k miles. And "some" Toyota engines... 'Ya know?

I was not comparing the z motor to anything, just stating the fact about other engines.

BTW: I was also NOT saying which motor is better.

Yeah, seems good, doesn't pull or vibrate at all, I think it was just cause the wheel had been fixed in the same spot a few years back, so it was weaker there. Once I put the new wheel on i'll get a better idea.
