turbo's have gotten better, but engines in pursuit of performance and light weight have gotten questionably worst in terms of durability.

plus putting FI on a car is putting a lot more wear and tear than one may actually give credit for.

like the CLA AMG... beast engine but seriously question its longevity.

Maybe not a butt load but ... you get the meaning. The regulars are seeing a dead horse being flogged

I tried telling a kid this when he started a thread about whether he should buy a 6mt or 7AT.. and some noobs got butthurt and called me out. Its not politically correct anymore to be a smart a$$ when someone is too lazy to do a search.

OP, not talking about you, just my own experience when dealing with a thread that has been covered 1k times.

I recently heard that Nissan may use a turbo charged 4 and loose the model number designation and just call it a "Z".

I find it hard to believe they'd wait until 2020 to release whatever the next gen Z will be.

It's gonna be called the 380Z. It will be stroked to 3.8 liters to give it increased torque, with 380 ft lbs of torque and 380 HP. It will also have 380 lbs removed in weight which will cut .38 seconds off of the 0-60 time and have an MSRP of $38,000.

Nissan engineers have been working dilligently to hit every one of those parameters. I have a spy in their design center who has seen the test mule and he swears it's true.

2020 was a joke but it's been 6 years and we still don't have any solid knowledge of what the next generation Z will be, so i won't be surprised if we have to wait until 2020

You forgot the one most important fact...Target demographic is 38, only persons 38 years old will be allowed to purchase the new 380Z.

Mr. Frye, please try to be more diligent when posting factual information about the next gen Z or the ban hammer will start swinging!

Special lease deals and financing offers (3.8%) for 38 months too?
38 month warranty or 38k miles whichever comes first?
