ACT clutch?
 
Hey anyone have this? I was just notified that by my shop that they dropped one off as a sponsorship, but I had no idea they even made one for our cars? Anyone know or have any reviews on it?

I had a ACT clutch on my previous car (EVO9)...it sucked...8/10 times my 4th -> 5th gear always get stucked when shifting at 7000rpm...

Evo's have 0 in common with the Z though, especially in the transmission department. I've heard of lockout issues when drag racing with the ACT on Evo's as well, but I swear to you I've never once experienced it myself, and I've used it countless times.

As for the Z unit, it hasn't been wide released yet, but that is due to happen any day. For anyone who wants to try one out, let us know, we'll hook ya up (we're a direct ACT dealer) :)

One of the reason I got a Z was the transmission. I saw a pic of z's tranmission, the gears and everything looks really beefy. Plus, I believe Z has the correct layout of the transmission that a car should have. EVO's layout is just like Honda, so there's less room for gears and trans oil...
