What if Nissan, or any manufacturer of high performance cars, was like Subway? I mean, what if the chassis (say the 370's or GTR's) were akin to the bread at Subway, and meat was akin to the engine?
You could put an LS7 V8 in a 370 chassis, or a Viper engine in a GT-R, vice versa, so on and so forth? Wouldn't that be awesome?! How about a 5.0 Coyote V8 in a 370? I praise domestic V8s because hp and torque come easy. I don't like FI because it's like a high drama g/f; very difficult to keep calm and running well. And Ford and GM will allow you to buy these crate engines. And they're cheap considering the level of performance you get with them. Forget $20,000+ builds (FI with tuning and installation and miscellaneous parts). Oh yeah, forgot, eat fresh ![]() |
