For 7AT you can probably put it in reverse while driving. In my old old Accord this would put the trans in neutral but enable the reverse lights

This reminds me of a story told by Brother Dave Garner (Google it if you're too young to know him). Back in the fifties in the South there was a young man who got a job driving for a state senator. Now he had never driven a car with an automatic transmission and was taking the senators car for a ride. He wasn't sure what gear to put it in so he started out by putting it in "L" for what he thought stood for "Leap". He took off and shortly another guy pulled up beside him. He figured he wanted to drag so he put it in "Dr" for what he thought was "Drag". At about 90 mph he figured the other guy wanted to race so he shoved it into "R" for "Race".

I'm sure most of you know this but:

1) If you're engine is on and you want to turn it off but still keep the radio on then press the engine start button quickly twice.

2) If you're engine is off and you want to turn on all the electronics (i.e. close the window) then press the engine start button quickly twice, or simply don't step on clutch if you have a 6MT.

3) You don't have to hold the engine start button down, just press it once and the engine will start.

4) If you have the navi, the fan mode select button can be rotated and feels like it's supposed to have increments of some sort, like a dial.

5) If you have a 6MT, sometimes when your left leg is tired the car can sense this and it will try to depress the clutch for you, but for an abnormally long period. Sometimes it will get stuck doing so and you'll have to bring it in to Nissan and they'll tell the car not to do that again.

Everyone knows that the letters stand for;

P= stay Put
R= wRong way
N= No way
D= Dat way
L = sLow way
