It appears that there is only a very small difference in power between a Nismo and a sports package coupe. If one is not interested in getting to a race track but does drive fast and aggressive, on highways and city streets, is there sufficient reasons for going for a Nismo?

The nismo has an upgraded suspension as well. I have a sport touring and added wheel spacers and swift springs. For 300 bucks, the springs were well worth it. It handles so much better and you don't sacrifice too much ride quality. Just the right amount of in between in my opinion. If you can get a nismo for a good price, don't hesitate. I think the nismo is for people who want a more sportier feel without having to touch the car,ie modding.

2. It's not very track ready but just like any other z car it doesn't take much to get it there if you are just starting out and as you get more experienced, you'll mod the car as needed based on the shortcomings you have on track. One note about the aero, at least as far as the 09-14 nismos are concerned the aero is functional, don't know about the new 15 nismos yet. 3. Um ok 4. Personal preference but I agree 5. See #3 The stiffer suspension means it doesn't hook up as well for straight line performance like 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Also, 18 more hp at 350 hp total is nelgible. |

The NISMO is extremely "revvy" for lack of a better word. Unless you're really hammering it, you're never going to notice the extra 18hp and it will probably be slightly slower for more "normal" driving. At 6000 rpm though, hold on tight! ![]() OP: Go with the one you want; they're both fantastic cars. I love the exclusivity, looks, suspension, and wheels/brakes of my NISMO but I'm still jealous of the Touring interior. If you value ride quality/comfort get a base model.
