If it's anything like the 370 release it will be after the G coupe release. Infiniti gets it first.

Seems that all new cars are not living up to expectations. I've read Nissan is debating on dropping the Z and make something that will compete with the FR-S/BRZ. Everyone's also going to smaller displacement blown motors with sound tracks pumped into the cabin (cuz they sound shitty), electric steering (for more fuel economy) which sucks ballz and they are even replacing the spare tire with cheap repair kits.
Notable let downs this year...
On the bright side, gas is pretty cheap. |

Was at the dealership yesterday looking at looking at the New Murano for the wife and my contact and I talked about the 2015 Nismo. He told me that he has heard that the Z will be all new in 2017. Like most of know, we have heard things like this in the past, and like most "I will believe it when I see it".. On a other note, hope you all have a Great Christmas!!!

Furthermore, Lexus didn't want to even spend the necessary capital to build a proper contender... "The RC chassis is a Frankenstein mash-up of three different cars. From the front bumper to the A-pillars lay the bones of the Lexus GS sedan. Between the A- and C-pillars, engineers borrowed the floorpan of the Lexus IS C convertible (reinforcing the sills for good measure). The rear end is adapted from the current Lexus IS sedan. The three sections are welded and bonded together with structural adhesive used around the rockers, inner fenders, A-pillars, and floor crossmember. Extra spot welds join the cowl and rockers, and laser screw welding is used for the door apertures, rear window, and package tray. Structurally, the regular-strength RC coupe and the hot-rodded RC F are nearly identical, although the F has its own fenders, aluminum hood, and front bumper cover, as well as a few more braces to stiffen things up even more." Edit: Also, do you have any idea what a GT-R weighs? Last I checked that isn't holding it back from making it around some corners.

2015 BMW M4 vs. 2015 Lexus RC F – Head 2 Head Ep. 59 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9A3eY8PRtQ Ever heard of AWD? The GT-R is known for having the most sophisticated AWD system in the world which is why it can overcome it's weight issue. On an interesting note, the BMW M235i AWD version is one car that I find exciting and yes, I've driven it. Actually the new M2 is one car I'm keeping my eye out for. |
